Reselections, Cancellations & Returns

All merchandise otherwise eligible for return or exchange must be in new condition as received.

Special Order Merchandise

Special orders are orders containing merchandise that is not held in regular stock and is ordered at the specific request of the customer. As such, special orders cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged under any circumstances once Malouf Furniture has placed the order with the manufacturer. Customer is required to pay the full balance within 7 days from notification to customer that the merchandise is available for pick-up or delivery. Customer’s failure to do so shall not relieve customer of its obligation to pay the entire amount owned for such merchandise.

Stock Merchandise

• Stock merchandise orders may be cancelled up to 3 days before delivery or pick-up for a full refund.
• Pictures, Lamps, Accessories & Area Rugs may be returned within 48 hours for different items or a full refund. After 48 hours, these items may not be returned or exchanged.
• Clearance, Floor Samples, Tent Sale & Warehouse Sale Purchases: This merchandise is sold “as-is” and not subject to cancellation, return, service, exchange or refund. This merchandise must be picked up within 48 hours and all sales are final.

Delays

Approximate delivery dates are based on standard manufacturer lead times and are subject to change. Malouf Furniture cannot be held responsible for delays in transportation, fabric shortages, production, or other acts that may result in a delay of a customer’s order. Failure to delivery your merchandise by the estimated delivery date will not give the customer the right to cancel the order without the express written consent of Malouf Furniture.

Refunds

Purchases paid by check will be refunded by check made payable to customer and issued 14 business days from cancellation or return of merchandise and mailed to the address provided by the customer at the time of order or may be picked up by customer at Malouf Furniture. Purchases paid by credit, debit card, third party financing or gift certificate will be credited in the same form as payment was made within 5 business days of cancellation or return of merchandise. Purchases paid by cash will be refunded by check within 5 business days of cancellation or return of merchandise. Malouf Furniture reserves the right to request such documentation as deemed necessary by Malouf Furniture to verify the identity of persons requesting a return, exchange or refund.

Restraint Devices

Whether Malouf Furniture delivers the customer’s furniture purchased, or not, Malouf Furniture has not agreed to, will not, and has no responsibility whatsoever for the installation of any and all so called “anti-tipping” restraint devices, equipment, hardware or apparatus provided and included with the furniture purchased solely by the furniture’s manufacturer. In addition, Malouf Furniture is not responsible for any manufactured products not providing “anti-tipping” restraints from the manufacturer.
