The theme of the Malouf tree was beachy and the team at Malouf's decorated tons of flip flops with glitter and had silver sunglasses cover the tree. The tree will be on display until January 6th. Malouf received an honorable mention award for the contest and will be sure to participate next year. A ceremony was held in the Foley Park on Friday, December 5th where awards were given out and the whole town came out to see the lighting of the trees. The expansion broke ground on September 20 and the tractor began clearing the land. The expansion is estimated to be finished in March 2004.
