Welcome to Malouf Furniture and Design! Our store began many years ago with a simple concept and a lot of ambition. My grandfather, Alex Malouf Sr., founded Malouf Furniture in 1946 in Downtown Greenwood, a small, delta town in Mississippi. He opened a small store on Carrollton Ave. with furnishings and some accessories. He felt there was a need to have a place where people could buy quality furniture at fair prices with outstanding service. Over the generations, this idea for our business never changed.

My grandfather passed on the dream to my father, Alex Malouf Jr., who built a much larger store in 1978 and in 1980 he started to manufacture high-end framed art under the name John-Richard. With this, Malouf Furniture was able to provide unique accessories to accompany their factory direct furniture.

Today, I, Gardner Malouf, have tried to take the original concept even further. The John-Richard Collection is on the cutting edge of high-end design, leading the industry in lighting, pictures, oil paintings, bedding, accessories, and furniture. Offering full complimentary design service, Malouf's reputation supercedes all others. At Malouf Furniture and Design we have created an atmosphere full of creativity and quality product. From a simple idea to an innovative and successful venue, the old principals of my grandfather and father remain the same and the dream of the perfect furniture store lives on...
